Following a credentials contest, Internos was the chosen candidate to acquire fund manager GPT Halverton. Internos now has €1.7 billion of assets under management with five funds and two separate mandates through six offices in London, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, Frankfurt and Berlin.lnternos Real Investors was launched in 2008 with the objective of locating, investing in and managing real estate opportunities in Europe for institutional investors.
There are many strong real estate investment teams in London, more than in any other European capital. It is unlikely, however, that a team of two could be formed with a joint set of credentials as strong and as timely as the founding Internos partners Jos Short and Andrew Thornton. Together they bring:
- Deep, hard won expertise
- High-level contacts and relationships
- A wide and wise eye for opportunity
- Rigour and speed in decision
- Economy in transaction
- Transparency for investors
- State-of-the-art debt negotiation
in the European real estate markets of 2010 and beyond.
The partnership aims to deliver investment performance in the medium term, typically five to seven years, and will frequently seek equity and, where appropriate, debt financing, with European financial institutions.
