Founding Partner - Chief Executive - Andrew Thornton

A degree in Economics and Land Economy from Cambridge took Andrew to Weatheralls - a leading commercial real estate firm where he valued, leased and transacted properties across England and Central London. In 1993 he joined developer Lend Lease to become involved in the viability study, site acquisition and eventual development of Bluewater, one of Britain's largest shopping centres. In 1997, he helped to form Parkes and Company, becoming specialised in pioneering work in emerging markets such as Poland and Hungary. With the team numbering 35, he managed the sale of Parkes and Company to Invesco in 2001. As Chief Operating Officer in Europe for Invesco Real Estate until 2007, he acquired a specialist property investment business from HVB, was Chairman of the Investment Committee, building a team of 57 people from Madrid to Prague that managed 14 co-mingled funds or separate accounts. Total real estate assets under management were $10 billion. He is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and of The Securities and Investment Institute and holds an MBA.
