Consultant and Executive Partner - Charles Rasche
Charles Rasche joined Internos as a Consultant Partner in February 2008. His key executive role is to oversee the tax-efficiency of Internos investment vehicles and holding structures for all classes of investors working with our external advisors. As a member also of The Investment Committee, he will similarly vet all proposals to The Committee, drawing on a distinguished career providing international tax advice - most latterly as Head of Group Tax for AMVESCAP responsible for all world regions outside North America. At AMVESCAP, he was instrumental in saving substantial amounts of taxation through a variety of projects, among them: transfer pricing settlements between the UK and US and other European countries, application of European Tax law rulings to the UK and planning of Value Added Tax in financial and real estate transactions.
As a UK Chartered Accountant, Charles Rasche began his tax career with Arthur Andersen in 1977 - becoming a Tax Partner in 1986 and holding specific responsibilities for Tax Risk Matters and as Director of Tax Competence responsible for training and computerisation. He is currently Chairman of Trustees for The F&C Pension Plan. He is a UK citizen.
