Consultant and Executive Partner - John Nielsen
John Nielsen joined Internos as Head of Marketing in April 2008. He had been advising Internos on marketing strategy and presentation since December 2007. He is a graduate of the London School of Economics and has had a career in marketing spanning research, advertising and global strategy for leaders in their fields including The Economist Intelligence Unit, McCann-Erickson Advertising, RJ Reynolds, and for eight years, Cadbury Schweppes plc. For the latter he held the positions of Vice-president, Marketing, Europe and Vice-President Global Marketing Strategy within The Beverage Division (Schweppes, Canada Dry, Doctor Pepper, Oasis etc). He lived and worked in The United States from 1988 to 1992. Since leaving Cadbury Schweppes he has worked in consultancy roles advising, among others, Unilever and Corporate Edge, Britain's leading branding consultancy. The appointment of a very experienced marketing partner reflects the changing nature of European real estate and Internos' strategic approach where many projects have a need for sophisticated marketing input, budgeting, assessment and supervision. John Nielsen will vet and report on all such projects presented to The Investment Committee and maintain a supervisory brief thereafter.
